Wildcats History

Wildcats Rugby Club was founded in August 2013.

Based in the San Francisco North Bay, Wildcats Rugby Club is an open club allowing players from any school to join the club and compete on the field. The club comprises youth teams for players 8-18 years old. The Wildcats have teams in 5 age groups: U10, U12, U14, Frosh/Soph and Varsity.

The Wildcats was formed to promote the ideals of strong character, good sportsmanship, leadership, good citizenship, fair play, camaraderie and giving back to the community of which we are all a part. The club will represent rugby in a positive and professional manner throughout Northern California and to the national youth rugby community.

In September 2013 the club announced a partnership with Marin Catholic High School, Novato to allow the use of each institution's facilities. In this way, both the North Bay rugby community, and the students of each school, will have increased access to the game of rugby.
