North Bay Youth hits the beach!!

North Bay took their "(Wednesday) Summer Rugby" program to Stinson Beach for games of beach rugby, some surf time and a BBQ to close things.

Weather looked bad as we all headed over, but conditions were actually near perfect.  Event was well attend by U10-U12-U14s, with many coaches and dad's jumping in, all well supported by families.

This may have been the best Wednesday we have had, with many more to come.  Bring a friend and join in the fun.  Check TeamSnap for details of more events.

Why North Bay Rugby Club?

Based in the San Francisco North Bay, the North Bay Rugby Club is an open club allowing players from any school to join, learn and compete on the field. The club welcomes players from 8-18 years old, fielding 5 teams: U10, U12, U14, Frosh/Soph and Varsity.

North Bay Rugby was formed to promote the ideals of strong character, sportsmanship, leadership, good citizenship, fair play, camaraderie and giving back to the community of which we are all a part. The club will represent rugby in a positive and professional manner throughout Northern California and to the national youth rugby community.

North Bay keeps Rugby FUN!

A recent article in the Washington Post noted that 70% of kids quit team sports by the age of 13. Why? Most kids leave because their team over-emphasizes achievement and success over healthy, happy kids. North Bay takes great care in building a nationally ranked varsity squad while ensuring the U12-U14-JV players are progressing in their understanding of rugby and its strategy while having fun with their friends in doing so.
